How To Use

Prepare the Meter: The Contour Next test strip should be inserted into the meter.

Prepare the Control Solution: Startle the control solution bottle, and then put a drop of the solution on a clean, nonabsorbent surface.

Apply the Control Solution: Watch the meter beep as the solution is pulled into the test strip by touching the tip of the test strip to the control solution drop.

Wait for the Result: A five-second countdown begins after the beep, as indicated on the display.

Run a Control Test: Prepare to run a control test by inserting a test strip into the Contour diabetes testing meter kit.

Apply More Control Solution if Needed: If the first blood drop is not enough, the meter makes two beeps and displays a strip underfill screen image. You will have about 30 seconds to apply more blood to the same strip.
